It’s that season… back to school, summer is seemingly over, which means back to the GRIND!
Here at The Academy there are many different programs that will help you reach your health and fitness goals.
Here’s a look at what is offered:
Self Defense (BJJ)
This class is strictly for those that are looking for the best way to protect themselves in the “street”!
During this class you will learn the skills required to protect yourself in many different situations, from muggings, one on one confrontations and sexual assaults. These are the skills everyone should have, especially young teenagers and women.
Just Do It Conditioning (JDI)
Using kettelbells, TRXs, body weight exercises, HIIT and various other types of equipment & , this class gets you STRONG, FLEXIBLE and FIT!
Muay Thai (Kickboxing)
This calorie burner beginner class can kill close to 1000 unwanted calories! There are classes for beginners to learn the basics and get fit and classes for those that want to compete in the ring or cage. Learning something new is much better for you than treadmills and steppers… PLUS the skills gained will give you more confidence as well.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)
This art came into popularity in the early 90’s with the UFC and Royce Gracie. This martial art has many branches, self defense, sport Jiu-Jitsu and MMA applications. This program follows a traditional curriculum that ensures quality and stays true to the “realness” with which the art was founded upon.
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
For those wanting to take their game to the next level…MMA is the ultimate in combat sports. If you want to learn about the sport or think you would like to compete, we can take you into the CAGE.
